Technology Development
Development of in house technology for production of Penicillin-G at  Torrent Gujarat Biotech Ltd. (TGBL) Baroda, India (Now Sterling biotech  Ltd). Optimized the process of Penicillin-G production from Seed stage  to the Fermentation stage for various strains in the Pilot plant  facility (150-ltr Alfa Laval Fermentors) and Scaled up to the Production  facility (160,000-ltr Bioengineering, Switzerland designed Fermentors).  TGBL was one of the best Penicillin-G producing Companies in the world  that uses Distributed Control System (DCS) for all its fermentation  operation. 
Complete bioprocess (fermentation and purification) optimization of  biologically active recombinant human interferon-gamma was successfully  carried out from lab-scale to pilot-scale level. Four patents have been  filed on the process for producing purified biologically active  recombinant human interferon-gamma.
Technology development for production of recombinant epidermal growth factor including the formulation of sterile cream.

Cost Reduction
Design and implementation of improved process (High yield) with a view to reduce cost of bulk production of Penicillin-G.
Design of high-cell density cultivation process of recombinant E.coli for the production of therapeutic proteins.

Project Installation
Erection and commissioning of the bioreactors, dosing vessels and all the accessory equipment. 
Validation of sterility, sterilization cycle, automated bio-control system, probes, and the feed system.
