- Studying of client architectural, civil and structural drawings for the preliminary material take off ,cutting plans, specification and scope of works..
- Preparation of connection detailsas required by client, general arrangement drawings, shop fabrication drawings with respect to AISC, ASTM standards, Fasteners list, Bill of materials, Bolt location list & Erection sequences.
- Preparation of cutting plans for plates by keeping minimum material wastage.
- Checking the Model and Drawings.
- Template settings as per the client requirements. 
- Ensure the easy erection of the structural members, co-ordinate with shop foremen for solving problems encountered during fabrication.
- Keep track of all changes done during fabrication and erection, which need to be incorporated into as built drawings.
