The major components were Solar panel, Microcontroller, IC and Stepper motor. The use of this device is a boon for equipments which need to follow the sun. If signal changes to green from red before engine stops, the device helps to cross the signal with low speed. It had transmitter circuit with IC 555 as main component and a receiver circuit, which contains microcontroller 89C51, IR sensor TSOP 1738, vtg regulator series 78XX and current driver chip ULN2003A.
