Academic Projects Undertaken [b]Title [/b]: IR Remote Control Switch [b]Precise [/b]: Completed the project with the aim of turning on the appliance by a wireless remote where the controlled appliance must always be partly on, consuming standby power. Any application that supports shortcut keys can be controlled via IR Remote Controls from other home devices. The IR Remote Control Circuit can be used for any simple ON-OFF function in which the circuit is absolutely free from ambient light interference and provides control range about 10 meters without the use of any focusing lens. [b]Title [/b]: Two Line EPABX [b]Precise [/b]: Completed the project and designing a system with two line interconnection only. It has two telephones, which have the intercom facility, and they can be connected to the telephone line. All the functions are controlled by the 8-bit microcontroller AT89C2051 which has a Program Memory (ROM) of 2 kilobytes. The DTMF (Dual tone multiple frequency) signals are decoded by the DTMF decoder IC 8870 and its output will be in decimal of the pressed key. The switching functions are done by 12v relays.
