We have made effort to replace a gear box by this principle. The drive gives variable speed & torque ratio, depending on an input 7 & output speeds with increased efficiency approaching around 90%. The model consist three dynamically balanced masses are placed off centered to transmit the torque. The masses are connected to yoke with the help of a link which is connected to the input shaft. The oscillating torque of the masses is converted into out torque with the help of unidirectional clutch. In this way we can get increased speed & torque at output shaft. [b]Scope [/b]: This drive can be adapted instead of conventional gear box as efficiency of the drive is much greater than the gear box used in vehicles. 2.
