Job Responsibility: - Piping layout for main process lines, critical lines with proper supports considering enough flexibility - 3D modeling of equipments and updating the same based on vendor drawings - Carrying out subsequent model review with department internal personals - Development & checking of G.A. drawings - Development & checking of Isometric with respect to P&ID, stress report. - Preparation of manual MTO from P&ID - Preparation of Nozzle Orientation drawings for columns, Reactors - Preparation of Statutory package based on the input of the Lead Engineer. - Preparation of Design requisition for special supports & request for stress systems - Updating 3D CAD model based on stress recommendations. Technical Skills: - Basic understanding of piping material features, such as pipe classes, pressure ratings and piping components as defined per ASME Standard. - Basic understanding of Process Piping code ASME B 31.3 - Thorough understanding of reading process PID. - Capable of reading mechanical data sheets - Brief understanding of Statutory norms for Plant Layout - Basic understanding of pipe stress and thermal expansion aspects of pipe lines. - Basic understanding of the general requirements of piping layout and design - Understanding of UDL calculation method, vertical load calculation for non-critical lines - Basic understanding of various types of instruments and their requirements in Piping Layout - Basic understanding of type of process equipments/pumps and their requirement w.r.t. supporting, maintenance and access in layout. - Good communication & presentation skill.
